Doctor of Philosophy

A PhD in Computer Science & IT at Tribhuvan University (TU) is offered through the Institute of Science & Technology (IOST). It requires a Master’s degree in a related field (such as MSc CSIT) with strong academic performance (typically a minimum CGPA of 3.0), passing the entrance examination, defending a research proposal, and fulfilling other specific criteria. 4. Proposal Defense: Defend your research proposal.
5. Work Experience: May be required for part-time candidates or those with lower CGPA, but not for full-time with high CGPA or publications.
